SNV Netherlands Development Organisation is looking for a ICT Officer SharePoint (Based in The Hague, The Netherlands)
The ICT unit, which consists of a team of seven, is responsible for the worldwide IT infrastructure including all corporate applications. One of the applications is SharePoint 2007 that is used for SNV’s intranet and website. For this intranet/website we are looking for an enthusiastic officer who is able to promote this platform among the 1500 SNV staff members worldwide and to further develop it into an appreciated tool for information and knowledge sharing. You will report directly to the ICT Manager and work closely with the other ICT officers and Communication officers in reaching your goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Implement, configure and maintain a SharePoint 2007 / MOSS 2007 environment;
- Develop and maintain the website and intranet environment in MOSS 2007;
- Propose technical solutions for issues and requests;
- Implement solutions based on the requirements by the business for functional issues and requests;
- Analyze and monitor the use of the website and intranet as well as the satisfaction of the user;
- Write support and training material
- Give support to users;
- Assist and cooperate with the other ICT Officers Applications.
Candidate profile:
- Intermediate vocational education (MBO+) in computer science or related field;
- Experience with SharePoint 2007 is a must;
- Knowledge and experience with .NET, .XSL(T) and Powershell;
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience;
- Knowledge of web applications;
- Analytical skills for problem solving;
- A strong communicator who connects between ICT, Communications and the internal clients;
- Independent yet a real team player;
- Flexible and culturally aware;
- Fluent in English;
- Knowledge of Dutch is an asset
- You are in possession of a work permit for the Netherlands.
Contract Period: 1 year with possibility of extension.
Start date: As soon as possible.
