Product Marketing Manager – Amsterdam

The Google marketing team is responsible for marketing the company’s exceptional product portfolio to end users, partners and customers on a worldwide basis. We have a variety of roles, including product marketing, creative services, event management, quantitative marketing and field marketing.
The role: Product Marketing Manager
Product Marketing Managers are responsible for supporting Google’s growth and revenue generating efforts in the Netherlands through effective and results-focused marketing campaigns. You will focus on breadth and rotation and as you gain more experience, there is opportunity to grow within the organization. You will report to the Country Marketing Manager of the Netherlands, based in Amsterdam.
Responsibilities:
- Support Google’s growth and revenue generating efforts throughout the Netherlands through effective and results-focused marketing campaigns.
- Work with the corporate marketing group, sales, and product support to drive projects.
- Define and implement country marketing plans and customer communications strategy.
- Determine ROI on advertising expenditures.
- Define market research studies to gain knowledge about user attitudes and behaviour.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience (MBA a plus). Fluency in Dutch as well as English.
- Experience in product marketing, direct marketing, marketing program management, or consulting.
- Passion for analyzing products, customers and market dynamics.
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills and strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated capacity for developing and understanding strategy.
- Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market.
- Understanding of Google’s strategic and competitive position.
